Making notes
How do I make notes from a PDF?
Tap Create (the + at the bottom), then PDF, then Choose files and pick your PDF. Word and PowerPoint files work the same way.
Click New note, choose Doc, then drop your PDF in or click to upload it. Word, PowerPoint, text and spreadsheet files work too. Pick a note style and click Generate note.
Can you make notes from a YouTube video?
Yes. Create (+) → YouTube, paste the link, and Nuros turns the video into a note.

Can I make notes from a website link?
Yes. Create (+) → Website and paste the link. Pages behind a school login (Canvas, Blackboard, Google Classroom) or a paywall can't be read: download the file and use PDF instead.

Can I take a picture of my notes or textbook?
Yes. Create (+) → Camera to snap pages, or Image to pick photos you already have. Handwriting works too.

Can I make notes from a lecture recording or video file?
Yes. Create (+) → Audio → Choose an audio file. Recordings and video files (mp4, mov) both work. Long lectures take a few minutes.

Can I record my lecture live in the app?
Not yet. Record the lecture with your phone's Voice Memos (or any recorder), then Create (+) → Audio and pick the recording.

Can you make notes on a topic without a file?
Yes. Create (+) → Prompt and type the topic, for example 'Cell building blocks of life, class 9 biology'.

Can I write notes by hand?
Yes. Create (+) → Handwrite gives you a page to write on. You can also annotate an existing note with Annotate.
Handwriting is only in the phone and iPad app. On the website you can view handwritten notes but not create them.
Can I put several files into one note?
Yes. Pick more than one file after Create (+) → PDF. If they're on different topics, Nuros asks and you can choose Combine into 1 note.

Why can't Nuros open my file:/// link?
That link points to a file on your own device, so Nuros can't open it. Add the file itself instead: Create (+) → PDF, or Share → Nuros from the app the file is in.

Can I import from Google Drive?
Not as an import. If the file's sharing is 'Anyone with the link', paste the Drive link in Create (+) → Website. Otherwise download it from Drive, then Create (+) → PDF.

When something goes wrong
My note stopped halfway. How do I finish it?
Open the note. It shows Unfinished with a Finish → button. Tap Finish and Nuros writes the rest from the same file. Finishing is free.

Close the note and open it again from My Library. If it shows Finish →, tap it. If it's still stuck after a few minutes, make the note again from the same file, and email support@nuros.app if that fails too.

Why couldn't Nuros read my link?
Some pages need a login (Canvas, Quizlet, Google Classroom, McGraw-Hill) or block outside readers. Download the file or save the page as a PDF, then Create (+) → PDF.

There isn't one called that. Use Create (+) and pick the type: PDF for documents, Image for photos, Audio for recordings.

Can Nuros turn my notes into a video?
Yes, a narrated video lesson. Open the note, tap Study, then Video lesson. It takes a minute or two and plays in the app. It's saved under Materials.

How do I create a practice exam?
Go to Home and tap Exam (or Create (+) → New exam), then choose Notes, Topic or Mock exam. Full exams are made there, not in the Nuro AI chat.

Where do I upload my syllabus?
Home → Syllabus, or Create (+) → Import a syllabus. Nuros reads the topics and exam dates and builds your study plan.

How do I build a study plan?
Create (+) → New study plan, or Import a syllabus to build one from your class syllabus. Your plans are under My Library → Study Plans.

Where can I see all the dates from my syllabus?
If you imported your syllabus, open its study plan from My Library → Study Plans to see every date. You can also attach the syllabus in the Nuro AI chat and ask it to list the dates.

How do I add another file to a note I already made?
Open the note, tap the Nuro button (AI Assistant), choose Add Sources, and pick Doc, Youtube, Website, Image or Audio. The new material is added into the same note.

What can Nuro AI do?

You've used your free notes. The note is saved, and upgrading unlocks it.

How do I cancel my subscription?
Tap your avatar on Home → Manage or cancel subscription. It opens the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) subscriptions page, where you cancel.

How do I delete my account?

How does Nuros decide what I'm weak at?
Every quiz, flashcard and exam answer updates a mastery % for each concept, with recent answers counting more. Under 41% is weak, 41–75% is getting there, over 75% is strong. Ask Nuro AI "What am I weak at?" or "Am I ready for my exam?" to see yours.
